Today my mom, John, Miki and I went to the town's holiday parade. It was a chilly 16 degrees, probably cooler with the wind chill, but it wasn't very windy at all so it made the cold bearable. Miki was getting ansy sitting in her stroller so we ended up holding her for most of the parade. She seemed to enjoy it so I guess it made the effort worth it. Then we went and petted animals at the petting zoo which she of course loved. Then we went and stood in line for Santa, its a good thing we were at the front of the line because when she sat next to Santa she screamed her little head off. She is usually really good about that stuff but I think being cold and tired made it all too much. We will try the mall Santa at a later date and hopefully it will work out better. While we were in line waiting for Santa we saw the petting zoo operator carring a dead sheep off to the trailer. It was dripping bodily fluids and his head was flopping around. It made me really mad. I feel sorry for animals like that, I mean they never look they are in the greatest shape and kids are beating on there bodies all day. I just can't help feeling the way I do but it just made me sick to my stomach, and we all know I can handle that kind of stuff but its more the treatment that makes me ill. Sorry for the rant, here are some pictures from the day...

Mr. Grinch, Mikayla was keeping her eye on him!
Poor Santa, poor Miki
After we got back Christina, Nick and the kids came by for mom's spagetti. We hadn't seen them in over a month and I sure did miss them. Miki and Brady were very cute together and fun to watch. Miki was sharing her juice with Brady and he was trying to kiss Miki. Kara is growing up so fast too and she plays so nice even with her cousin trying to take everything from her.
Smooch's!!
